Looking for ideas on initiating sex?

Well, I've met someone new recently. He is a great guy and so far things are amazing! There's only one thing; both of us have a really hard time initiating sex! I guess it's always been a fear of rejection thing for me. So I am looking for some ideas on how to relax and be able to try initiating. Many thanks!
