How to get rid of bad sunburn?

It's really bad. I was out in the garden today just relaxing coz it's nice and sunny and I fell asleep for a good few hours and woke up slightly red on my neck and arms but it's gotten even more red in the last few hours even though I've been indoors. I'm fair skinned so ... it stings :))
